Meet Our Church Staff
Seth Leeman - Senior Pastor
Thank you for visiting our church's web site. Being the pastor of Noblesville Baptist is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I'd love to get the chance to meet you personally.
Growing up on the outskirts of Anderson, Indiana, I learned to love basketball, cornfields, and flat land. I thank God for having the opportunity to be raised in a Christian home and receive Christ as my Savior at the young age of 12.
Hack McPhee - Associate Pastor
I was born in Walnut Creek, California, and raised in Medford, Oregon. At the age of 12, I trusted Christ as my personal Savior while attending a local church camp and was later baptized. After high school, I went on to Bible College where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Biblical Studies. Upon graduation, I married my wife Kristen. Since that time, our family has grown as we have added three children, Adalynn Rose, Mason John, and Anna Christine.
I had the wonderful honor to serve as a local police officer for five years, prior to entering the full time ministry. The Lord allowed me to serve as a Youth Pastor for 3 years before joining the Noblesville Baptist Church staff in October of 2012. My law enforcement background has provided me with some interesting sermon illustrations and also helped in creating a ministry that is a safe and secure harbor for all involved. While I look to create a welcoming atmosphere, my main focus is to teach the Word of God in an understandable and practical way. In order to further developed in this area I'm currently working on my Masters degree in Biblical counseling. My desire at NBC is for people to seek and serve the Lord as they apply God’s truth and grow in His grace.
In addition to working with teens, I also enjoy meeting those who are struggling and look to provide hope through biblical counseling. In my free time, I enjoy sports, running, mountain biking, snow skiing, waterskiing, rock climbing, camping, and spending time with my family.
Adrian Barhams - Pastoral Intern
It is an honor for me to serve NBC as a pastoral intern. From conversion, I have had a hunger for the truth found in God’s Word and a desire to proclaim that truth. In pursuit of this, I am taking courses at ITS toward an MDiv, while taking online courses at TMS. I have had the privilege of pastoring the loving congregation of Terre Haute Gospel Chapel for almost three years prior to this internship.
I have been married to Akira for 18 years and we have four children, Aniya, Adrian II, Ava, and Alana. In addition to homeschooling my children, I enjoy spending time playing or watching sports, traveling with my family, and reading, in particular, reading sermons.
Gwyn Herrick - Church Secretary
I am privileged to serve as secretary here at Noblesville Baptist Church, assisting the pastors and facilitating communication throughout the church body. You may reach me at the office between the hours of 8 am and 1 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
Jonathan Tapp - Associate Pastor
I was born in Searcy, Arkansas, and grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana. By His grace, the Lord drew me to Himself at a young age. I was brought up in a believing home under my parents Marvin and Tammy and alongside my siblings Meghan and Ryan. My early years consisted mainly of Family, Church, Basketball, and Art.
I attended Anderson University where I received a BA in Visual Communication Design and also where I met my beautiful bride Kelsy. We moved to Noblesville and now have five amazing arrows in our quiver; Silas Jonathan, Selah Joy, Ruby Noelle, Elijah Jude, and Zion Nathanael.
My family and I have been blessed to attend NBC since 2015. In 2018 I began an internship with NBC while pursuing theological education through the Indianapolis Theological Seminary I completed the Masters of Divinity degree in May 2021, and I currently serve our church as an Associate Pastor working in areas of teaching, preaching, administration, design, and music. God has blessed my family and I beyond measure, and I give all glory to Him for the opportunity to serve at NBC.
