Do You Need Counseling?

Receive Free Biblical Counseling From Trained Counselors

There is always hope! Sometimes, in life, you need a helping hand to get you out of the rut that you are in. Let us come alongside you to help with Biblical truth that leads to lasting change.

Our Counseling Philosophy:

We believe that God has given us all that we need to know Him and to live in a way that is pleasing to Him. While we cannot necessarily eliminate the challenges that you face, we can provide help and hope by guiding you to follow God’s instructions and cling to his promises.

Common Issues We Help With:

Our trained counselors are able to help with such common problems as marital strife, parenting issues, sexual struggles, and emotional difficulties (e.g. depression or anger). Regardless of the issue you are dealing with, we believe that God’s Word (the Bible) is sufficient to answer any of life’s problems or questions.

Qualified Counselors:

Our lead counselors, whether they are pastors or laypersons, go through a rigorous Biblical counseling training program and have experience helping people through similar issues to your own.

GETTING STARTED

If you’re ready to get help now, please begin by completing our Counseling Intake Form. Please note that each individual desiring counsel needs to fill out a separate form.

What to Expect?

Most counseling sessions take between 1 to 1.5 hours. Here’s what you can expect during that time:

Privacy and Care – Our counselors will care for you and treat you with respect. Everything will be held in strict confidence except where, in the counselor’s judgment, there is a Biblical requirement to involve others (e.g. criminal activity).

Encouragement Toward Christ-likeness – Our counselors will encourage you in your successes and exhort you to think and behave in a way that pleases Jesus Christ.

Weekly Homework – You’ll be assigned homework to take home between your weekly counseling sessions. The assignments are designed to encourage lasting change.

Steady Support – New habits take time to develop, and old habits require time to fade. In most cases, we ask individuals to commit to regular appointments for a period of 3 to 4 months.

Cost – Since Noblesville Baptist Church provides the facilities and the counselors volunteer their time we can offer the counseling FREE of charge.

Cancellations - Out of courtesy for our staff, we request at least 24hrs notice of cancellation before your scheduled session.
